adidas ZX 8000 Yellow Blue

Inspired by the aZX campaign in 2008, the adidas ZX 8000 “Yellow Blue” honours the sneaker that redefined 1990s and early 2000s fashion. Reissued through the Consortium line, this colourway draws inspiration from a limited-edition ZX 8000 that was exclusively given to 22 retail partners that were part of the project.

Celebrating designers Jacques Chassaing and Markus Thaler, this retro runner boasts a vibrant yellow hue throughout the seamless suede and synthetic upper. The 3M reflective silver 3-Stripes, toe cap, and rear tab keep you visible when illuminated by light or a camera flash. A purple ZX 8000 label adorns the lateral panel, complementing the golden “Torsion” print on the insole and special-edition lace charm. Deviating from the 2008 version, the classic Trefoil logo replaces Chassaing and Thaler’s portraits on the tongue. A bright blue EVA midsole provides responsive cushioning underfoot, reinforced by a metallic gold Torsion bar for stability and arch support.
