Could the Vivienne Westwood x ASICS Gel DS Multi be the power duo’s hottest collaboration yet? It’s definitely one of them! Made to turn heads, the British fashion designer has given the Japanese sneaker a makeover that will surely be the centre of attention in any collection, and you definitely do not want to miss out!
Inspired by Westwood’s iconic orb logo with its multicoloured contrasting accents, the Vivienne Westwood x ASICS Gel DS Multi builds on an ultra breathable mesh base with leather and suede accents, all painted in various tones. 3M reflective detailing arrives on the tiger stripes, while the orb in question graces the heel region.
Moving downwards, you’ll be greeted by a tonal grey EVA midsole for unbeatable comfort and unrivalled cushioning, and to round off this special partnership, the François Boucher painting with the ‘Daphnis & Chloe’, 1743, is printed on the insole of the sneaker, completing the design.
Dropping alongside an extremely minimal one, if that’s a bit too subdued for you, then you need the Vivienne Westwood x ASICS Gel DS Multi in your life! One of their best collaborations yet, it’s releasing on August 16th for just £140 – a small price to pay for a literal work of art!
