The ASICS Gel-Kayano 20 "Black Silver" returns as the 20th anniversary edition of the Kayano line. A black base paired with gunmetal gives the upper a muted, tonal look, with the mesh split into two shades beneath the FLUIDFIT cage. That crisscross TPU application carries an anodised finish, adding a metallic edge that ties into an architectural aesthetic drawn from buildings and cars. Originally developed as a stability runner, the model now sits in the sportstyle category with its running tech intact. Dual GEL inserts at the rearfoot and forefoot pair with the Dynamic DuoMax Support System and GUIDANCE TRUSSTIC system to guide the foot. The two part outsole places AHAR rubber at the heel and DuraSponge blown rubber at the forefoot. Its neutral colouring works with denim or relaxed cargos, making the trainer an easy pick for a daily rotation.
