Melbourne-based women’s sneaker boutique Finesse reveals its first-ever ASICS Sportstyle collaboration featuring the archival Gel-Cumulus 16. Dubbed the “Desert Rose", this collaboration is an ode to an Australian flower that thrives in harsh and dry regions, symbolising strength and resiliency. This limited-edition Finesse x ASICS Gel-Cumulus 16 “Beige Black” reimagines the 2014 running shoe through a female perspective, seamlessly converging sports and contemporary fashion.
This iteration boasts a sand beige hue on the lightweight mesh and synthetic upper, contrasted by black patent leather overlays on the eyestay and rear. Silver Tiger Stripes cover the sidewalls, complementing the soft pink ASICS labels on the tongue, rear, foxing, and bright red sockliner. An exclusive “Desert Rose” carabiner elevates the silhouette’s outdoor-inspired aesthetic. The blacked-out EVA foam midsole encases stealthy GEL inserts in the forefoot and heel for excellent cushioning. Durable rubber treads on the outsole ensure superior traction on various surfaces.
Releasing on the official Finesse website and select ASICS stockists, you can find out where to buy the Finesse x ASICS Gel-Cumulus 16 “Beige Black” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
