18 East x ASICS Gel-Nimbus 10.1 Brown Silver

New York-based menswear label 18 East embraces the contrast between fast and slow to reimagine the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 for its first ASICS collaboration. Founded in 2018 by Antonio Congioli, the clothing brand incorporates unique handcrafting techniques to form contemporary fashion pieces that have redefined streetwear as we know it. This limited-edition 18 East x ASICS Gel-Nimbus 10.1 “Brown Silver” offers a multilayered design constructed in earthy hues and sustainable materials.

This hybrid runner features a rich brown shade throughout the hemp-blended mesh underlays, surrounded by grey raw-edged cotton canvas fabrics for a deconstructed aesthetic. The black web-like overlays cover high-wear areas on the front, quarter, and collar for added durability. Semi-transparent silver Tiger Stripes reinforce the sidewalls, complementing the co-branded details on the tongue, rear, and insole. The blue synthetic lines on the upper deliver a pop of colour to the nature-themed palette. Derived from the Gel-Kayano 14, the midsole utilises visible GEL inserts in the forefoot and heel to maximise cushioning and shock absorption. A TRUSSTIC plate between the decoupled rubber sole delivers stability and arch support. This Gel-Nimbus 10.1 by 18 East arrives in an exclusive package inspired by the silhouette’s complex makeover.
