Khaki season is finally here and that’s where the brand new Comme des Garcons x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70s Hi Heart Khaki comes in! Serving as Rei Kawakubo’s latest and greatest collaboration with the American footwear brand, you can wear these whatever the weather. Let’s take a closer look!
Painted in a military inspired palette that’s as versatile as it gets, the Comme des Garcons x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70s Hi Heart Khaki is made with the wet and windy winter months in mind. The legendary Japanese designer’s iconic red heart motif makes an appearance here, surrounding the entire bottom half of the upper for a playful and positive vibe. Con’s signature star motif graces the medials, and down below, you’ll find a rubber midsole that’s lined with a slither of gum rubber, providing wearers with both comfort and durability. To round it all off, a simple black line shoots across the heel, providing a pop of contrast that you never knew you needed.
Who said high fashion had to be expensive? Not the Comme des Garcons x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70s Hi Heart Khaki anyway. Priced at just £110, you can grab a pair right now over at END. Clothing!
