Latino American artist and designer known for his unique style of black and white accented objects and drawings, Joshua Vides, has a second collaboration with Converse. Together, they are introducing a collection that is an ode to artists and creators. The Joshua Vides x Converse Chuck 70 High White Black is part of it.

On this Chuck 70, Vides highlights the artisan’s tools and techniques using his trademark black and white treatment. The design of the shoe features a multi-layered upper. A 3D printed polka dotted canvas lies beneath a zip-up shroud made from waterproof Tyvek material, referencing the suit that Vides actually wears when painting. Some one-of-a-kind details of the shoe include measuring tape laces and movable ankle patches. The plain white midsole is adorned with a Converse All-Star rubber patch on the heel, a black stripe and a tongue-in-cheek illustrated traffic cone on the lateral side.
