Description
The Neigborhood x Converse Jack Purcell Black is, hands down, one of Shinsuke Takizawa’s best sneaker collaborations ever. Inspired by his love for motorcycle culture as well as streetwear, the stealthy shoe gives the classic design a contemporary rework, and you need to see it in person to be able to full appreciate it.
Taking on the legendary Jack Purcell silhouette, the first thing that you’ll notice about the Neigborhood x Converse Jack Purcell Black is the rubberised toe cap that dives into the midsole and surrounds the entire bottom half of the shoe. Crafted from a combination of ultra luxe leather and buttery smooth suede, the entire shoe is painted in a stealthy black hue, apart from some white accents that provide it with the perfect amount of contrast.
NBHD’s usual detailing also makes an appearance here, such as the “NBHDCNSJP” on the midsole that’s an abbreviation of “NEIGHBORHOOD CONVERSE JAPAN”, and Kanji characters at the heel that literally translate to “resistance“.
How can you not fall in love with the Neigborhood x Converse Jack Purcell Black?! One of the hottest Con collabs of 2019, it’s scheduled to release on August 23rd, so if you want a pair, you need to keep it locked for more release info as it develops!
