Converse and renowned artist, Joshua Vides, collaborate once again to create a collection meant to inspire creators everywhere. The new Joshua Vides x Converse Pro Leather Low Ivory Black shows off the artist’s signature black and white design treatment.

The base is literally a blank, organic canvas made from cotton. Deliberately imperfect marker-like lines on the shoe highlight the artist’s design process. The toe area looks like it is covered with black duct tape. However, the material is actually durable TecTuff leather. The shoe laces look like measuring tapes, complete with evenly spaced line notches. Co-branding on the mid-panel comes in the form of the artist’s last name in gold beside the Converse star. An off-white sole unit with exposed stitching completes the look of the shoe.
