After being absent from the shelves for many years, New Balance placed its archived 2002 model back on everyone's radar by reviving it through covetable collaborations and a new midsole unit borrowed from the New Balance 860v2. Now, the New Balance 2002R Steel is one of the latest colourways joining the growing collection, featuring predominantly grey panels in line with the Boston brand's series of grey running shoes. Varying dark and light shades add contrast to the design, featured via the the tongues, "N" logos, and the N-ergy sole unit beneath the feet giving all-day comfort. In addition, the mesh panels provide a lightweight feel while suede panels add a premium vibe.
