Japanese streetwear label WTAPS officially reveals its latest sneaker collaboration with New Balance to expand its Autumn ‘25 lineup. Founded in 1996 by Tetsu Nishiyama, the Tokyo-based brand first made waves with the rise of the Ura-Harajuku fashion scene. Kitted in an earth-toned palette, the WTAPS x New Balance 2010 “Light Green” embraces a utilitarian-inspired design language for everyday wear.
These chunky runners feature a light grey mesh upper with olive suede overlays, synthetic panels, and reflective details, establishing a premium makeover. The rubberised “N” adorns the sidewalls, complementing the “NB” on the tongue and the co-branding on the insole. A WTVUA (WTAPS VISUAL UP ARMORED) label animates the lateral foxing, while the minimalist WTAPS logo rests on the reflective back tab. The clean white ABZORB midsole encases the vibrant neon ABZORB SBS pods in the heel for maximum cushioning and energy return. A firm Stability Web shank plate reinforces the segmented outsole, providing arch support.
Set to arrive on the WTAPS website and select Japanese retailers ahead of a possible UK drop, you can find out where to buy the WTAPS x New Balance 2010 “Light Green” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
