New Balance 610v1 Green Punch

The Boston-based footwear brand has upped the ante on its new Lifestyle silhouette, the New Balance 610v1. With the brand focusing on the rollout of its 9060, 1906R and 610v1 catalogue in 2023, the silhouettes have been mostly limited to earthy palettes and tonal construction. That is no longer the case for New Balance’s 610v1, with two vibrant colourways set to hit the shelves in the coming months.

One of the brighter releases set to arrive is this “Green Punch” edition, dousing the silhouette’s synthetic panelling in a vivid green. A black mesh provides the bases of the shoe, housing the webbed panelling and 3M detailing that creates this techy ensemble. The sole unit is just as complex, marrying the C-CAP midsole with an aggressive lug pattern on the outsole below. Two pull tabs and a set of matching laces keep the 610v1 reliable and functional, two traits that the brand has mastered over its century of shoemaking.
