Concepts x New Balance 740 Saignée

Boston-based retailer Concepts links up with New Balance to reimagine the 740 as the popularity of techy retro runners remains sky-high. This collaboration showcases a seasonal spin on the cult classic sneaker, inspired by the meticulous process of making Champagne Rosé de Saignée. Serving another design masterclass from CNCPTS creative director Deon Point, this Concepts x New Balance 740 “Green Orange” flaunts rich material execution to form a contemporary makeover.

This “Saignée” rendition dons a gradient green hue throughout the open-holed mesh upper, producing a light-to-dark transition from the vamp to the rear. Soft pink accents envelop the synthetic leather overlays and laces to disrupt the predominantly earthy colour scheme. The TPU “N” logos and breathable mesh tongue stand out in vibrant orange, complementing the trademark NB and “740” branding. The plush ABZORB midsole provides responsive cushioning and long-lasting comfort, whilst the cork sockliners add a premium feel underfoot. Aside from the default pink laces, this pair includes additional cream laces to make it your own.
