New Balance introduces a JD Sports-exclusive colourway of the retro-futuristic 9060, decked out in a premium makeover. This chunky trainer showcases a visual upgrade from top to bottom, incorporating design elements from the 99X series and Y2K era. The New Balance 9060 “Moonbeam” gets in on the summer vibe, highlighted by swathes of neutral tones.
This iteration flaunts a cream white mesh underlay, reinforced by tan and beige overlays constructed in suede and leather. Oversized “N” branding adorns the sides, taking the spotlight from the silhouette’s overall robust build. Classic NB labels adorn the heel tab, while the jewel logo on the tongue draws inspiration from the NB 991 lace jewel. The dual-density midsole combines ABZORB and SBS foams to deliver plush, all-day cushioning underfoot. Tan accents animate the segmented rubber outsole featuring diamond traction patterns, ensuring grip and flexibility in every stride.
