JJJJound and New Balance combine forces to bring yet another solid 990v3 colourway to the table. Nowadays, it is impossible to avoid JJJJound collaborations but having been announced as a Montreal exclusive, spotting these on feet in your local city just got that much harder. Paying homage to the various brown hues dotted throughout Canada’s second-largest city, the shoe’s upper is a nod to the urban landscape the designer surrounds himself in.
For the third time in a row, New Balance’s 990v3 is the canvas for JJJJound to paint on. The silhouette recently experienced a whole new set of eyes when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was spotted wearing JJJJounds previous brown pair. Staying true to form, the upper can be found in a dark brown, similar to the earthy tones used on former collabs. The padded Made in USA tongue is also present in its signature silver as it was on the first collaborative pair. Sticking to the timeless motif, a set of cream laces are present to give you all the necessary lockdown, giving the pair its final JJJJound touch.
These are set up to exclusively drop in the city of Montreal where the brand’s studio is based, which means grabbing a pair will prove to be even harder than before. If you want to stand a chance of picking these up then stay updated with us over at The Sole Supplier for more information on the release.
