New Balance 990v2 Made In USA Black

Ever since Teddy Santis (of Aime Leon Dore fame) took the reins as creative director at New Balance the label has been pumping out solid gold releases, and now it’s back again with a fresh pair that you’re likely going to want to check out. Titled the New Balance 990v2 MADE in USA “Black”, this simple yet effective offering is about as versatile as it gets. The 990v2 offers a retro-styled no-frills attitude, and is favoured by plenty of footwear fanatics across the world.

Crafted from supple suede and premium mesh, the majority of this pair is decked out in black, although grey and beige hits add another layer of depth to the design and complete the look. New Balance’s signature N logo resides on both the lateral and medial sides, while range-specific 990 motifs are featured on the tongues. Other additions include MIUS branding on the heels and white retro laces. This is all placed atop of an Abzorb midsole unit for plenty of comfort and support.
