New Balance 990v3 Made In USA Burgundy

New Balance's 990v3 silhouette premiered in 2012 to celebrate the original model's 30th anniversary. Unlike the 990v1 and 990v2, the third instalment features the look we're accustomed to with the 990 series today, The model's presence in the sneaker community has been rather quiet through the years and it wasn't until Aimé Leon Dore's founder Teddy Santis placed the pair back in action after being appointed as the head of New Balance's MADE in US wing in 2021.

The New Balance 990v3 Made In USA Red is one of the latest additions to his collection, featuring pigskin and mesh panelling in varying shades of red. The Boston brand's recognisable "N" logo in grey adds contrast to the design, which is accompanied by white shoelaces and heel tabs, black diamond-patterned tongue, and a two-toned speckled ENCAP sole tooling beneath the feet to complete.
