Slow Steady Club x New Balance 990v5 Cream

HOTEL990 undergoes renovation as South Korean label Slow Steady Club makes space for another collaborative project with New Balance. Also known as the “Paper” colourway, the Slow Steady Club x New Balance 990v5 “Cream” boasts a tonal makeover, flawlessly executing a laid-back style.

This limited-edition colourway flaunts a cream-white mesh exterior, with light grey suede overlays enveloping the toe, midfoot, and rear. An embedded flag emblem with Made in USA branding adorns the tongue, while the “V” symbol sits atop the heel panel. The signature profile “N” logos embellish the sides, clad in an off-white tone. A semi-translucent TPU piece on the collar provides additional durability. The Asian brand’s minimalist label decorates the sockliners and lateral rear section above the NB heel counter. ENCAP foam makes up the midsole, shored up by a polyurethane rim on the back for stability.
