New Balance 990v3 Purple Orange

Teddy Santis, founder of Aimé Leon Dore and Creative Director of New Balance's Made in USA line has become a firm fixture in the sneaker scene over the past couple of years. Largely responsible for reviving the Boston-based brand's 550 silhouette through his ALD collabs, Santis' artistic talents are just as visible in the selection of 990 colourways he's dropped since his New Balance tenure started. After dropping a series of neutral options, Santis looks to add a pop of colour to the palette with the Teddy Santis x New Balance 990 V3 "Purple Orange."

Arriving in the same shaggy suede, leather and mesh construction as his "Marblehead" grey pair, the new iteration sees the classic 990 V3 shape get painted in purple, grey, navy and orange. Purple suede overlays wrap their way around the sneaker, whilst navy mesh and grey leather peek out from underneath. Orange accents then steal the limelight, spotlighting the N logo and 990 branding. Finally, the Teddy Santis x NB 990 V3 is finished with a cream and grey sole unit, which boasts ENCAP technology to ensure a comfy ride.
