Ronnie Fieg’s KITH celebrates the opening of its Osaka flagship store with an exclusive New Balance collaboration. This highly coveted KITH x New Balance 991v2 “Steel Blue” pays homage to the iconic NB 1300JP, an archival running trainer from 1985 that became a cult classic silhouette in Japan. The legendary silhouette has been retroed every five years since 1995, a testament to its timeless design and influence in streetwear culture.
This futuristic 991v2 features a muted blue hue throughout the lightweight mesh upper, offset by dark grey pigskin suede and smooth leather overlays. A silver “N” decorates the quarter, complementing the KITH labels on the forefoot, sockliner, and lateral foxing. The “Made in England” label on the tongue nods to the brand’s premium factory in Flimby, while the embroidered “v2” on the heel celebrates the beloved 991’s evolution. The chunky ENCAP midsole carries semi-translucent ABZORB SBS pods and full-length FuelCell technology for superior cushioning and shock absorption.
Set to release on the 21st of March via the KITH website, app, and Osaka flagship store, you can find out where to buy the KITH x New Balance 991v2 “Steel Blue” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
