Run the Boroughs x New Balance 991
A few of New Balance silhouettes have gained a significant level of attention over the past years, notably the models from the famous 99x series that was introduced all the way back in 1989. Debuted in 2001 is the 991, the follow-up to the 990, and its newest rendition dubbed the Run the Boroughs x New Balance 991 has just appeared on our must-cop radar.
The setup maintains the New Balance 991's traditional construction which sees plush suede, nubuck, leather, and mesh slabs all together. This RTB-branded New Balance 991 then showcases the label's classic greyscale palette, while the profile "N" logos deliver a pop of contrast by way of Run the Borough's signature blue colour.
Beneath the feet, an ABZORB-cushioned midsole delivers comfort at all times, while a playful Run the Boroughs logo familiar to the members of the British running club adorns the tongues. Reflective 3M accents and a complimentary black rubber outsole the completes this dual-branded ensemble.
