Renowned footwear designer Joe Freshgoods is teaming up yet again with New Balance for a collaborative sneaker release. Focusing on New Balance's MADE in US line (led by Aimé Leon Dore's founder Teddy Santis), the Chicago-born creative is offering the New Balance 993 in three colourways. Unlike the duo's New Balance 992 "No Emotions Are Emotions" with a bright red palette, Joe Freshgoods and New Balance are opting for the New Balance 993, which debuted in 2008. A premium blend of suede and mesh craft these 993s, with a greyscale underlays and contrasting muted light blue overlays.

New Balance's familiar "N" logo positions itself across the sides, maintaining the 99X series classic look since 1982. Of course, "JFG" branding is also added to the ensemble along with a tonal "993" embroidery on the lateral heels. The New Balance 993's ACTEVA cushioning system is present underfoot, offering all-day comfort and traction with the support of the N-durance rubber heel and outsole.
