The versatile New Balance M996 commemorates its 35th anniversary with a limited-edition Made in Japan “Grey”, set to headline Winter ‘23. Dropping exclusively in Japan, this NB M996 iteration incorporates New Balance’s signature greyscale, meticulously crafted in lightweight mesh and luxe pigskin suede. The leather “N” logos on the sidewalls stand out with its metallic silver accent, whilst the “996” on the tongue sparkles with its glittery gold texture. An embroidered “new balance” nestles on the leather back tabs, complementing the minimalist branding on the polyurethane heel counter. Low-profile ENCAP foam delivers adequate cushioning, backed by a race-ready lug outsole.
