New York-based streetwear boutique KITH unveils an Easter-inspired footwear collection with long-time partner New Balance. The exclusive collaboration shines the spotlight on the 997.5, a hybrid model blending the 997’s upper with the 998’s sole tooling. This project marks another milestone for KITH founder Ronnie Fieg, who became the first to collaborate on the model with the highly coveted Mykonos Pack in 2016. Kitted in soft neutrals, the KITH x New Balance 997.5 “Easter White Marshmallow” offers a refreshing design for your spring and summer wardrobe.
This retro sneaker features a pristine white mesh underlay with faint pink hues and cream accents on the leather overlays on the forefoot, tongue, and collar. Buttery smooth suede covers the forefoot, midfoot, and rear sections, while a rubberised panel reinforces the quarter and collar portions. The trademark “N” decorates the sidewalls, complementing the embroidered “Made in USA” label and “NB” logo. A “FIEG” branding adorns the insole as a nod to the founder. The thick ABZORB midsole delivers responsive cushioning and shock absorption underfoot, propped up by a durable rubber sole. This pair includes a custom iridescent shoe box with additional pastel-coloured laces.
Launching exclusively via the official KITH app, you can find out where to buy the KITH x New Balance 997.5 “Easter White Marshmallow” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
