New Balance 997 Made in USA Grey Green

The New Balance 997 Made in USA Grey Green is the latest colourway of one of the label’s most-loved silhouettes. The 997 launched all the way back in 1991 and has since been a regular addition to the label’s seasonal releases.

The 997 was designed by legendary footwear designer Steven Smith, also the man behind the majority of Kanye West’s YEEZY silhouettes and the recently revived Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2. The uppers are crafted from a smooth mix of supple suede and technical mesh and showcase retro-style colour blocking that uses pale hues for a considered edit. The label’s signature N logo appears on both the lateral and medial sides, while a typeface logo is embroidered onto the tongue.

Underfoot, a whited-out sole unit conceals New Balance’s signature ENCAP technology, offering adaptive cushioning to ensure these are more than comfortable for daily wear, be it athletic or lifestyle use.
