Commemorating the Nike Air Flight 89’s 35th anniversary, long-time collaborative partners Stüssy and Nike join forces to bring us three premium styles of the late ‘80s basketball sneaker. The silhouette has been in and out of the Nike Sportswear catalogue in the past decade, but this Stüssy takeover looks forward to giving the Air Flight 89 more prestige in the sneaker scene. Heading back to the underrated model’s basketball heritage, the Stüssy Nike Air Flight 89 "White Red” presents a clean ensemble akin to the Chicago Bulls' signature colours.

Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Flight 89 headlined the Oregon-based sportswear giant’s Flight series and took inspiration from the Air Jordan 4, incorporating the same midsole setup. Worn by the likes of NBA superstars Scottie Pippen and Clyde Drexler, the trainer transitioned towards the brand’s lifestyle catalogue after years of hiatus. This collaborative colourway flaunts a clean white leather construction with bright red accents replicating a Chicago-esque aesthetic. A classic Nike branding sits on the heel, while a co-branded Air Stüssy label adorns the tongue. Faux snakeskin overlays wrap the forefoot panels, embellished with a Stüssy No.4 logo on the lateral section. The red and sail white sole form a vintage look, wrapping up the striking ensemble of the sneaker.
