ALYX x Nike Air Force 1 Low Black

1017 ALYX 9SM founder Matthew M. Williams revisits the timeless Nike Air Force 1 in his latest Swoosh collaboration. The Chicago-born, California-based designer and creative director previously dabbled in the AF1 High in 2020 and 2021, incorporating modern minimalism into the quintessential streetwear staple. The ALYX Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black” maintains the iconic silhouette’s DNA in this stealthy makeover, refined with sleek and subtle design elements ready for the runways.

Arriving alongside the “White” iteration, this premium Air Force 1 colourway boasts a “Triple Black” colour palette crafted in tumbled leather. Signature details like the toe box perforations and Swooshes on the sides stay true to their form. Meanwhile, MMW stripped down a portion of the forefoot overlay to create a smooth surface. A metallic silver 1017 ALYX 9SM stamp adorns the lateral rear, complementing the silver ALYX branded lace dubraes. Silver eyelets highlight the lateral eyestays, juxtaposing the blacked-out base layer underneath. An embossed Nike Swoosh replaces the traditional Nike Air on the heel tab, while co-branded logos embellish the sockliners. The classic Air midsole conceals a Nike Air bubble for cushioning. The durable rubber outsole featuring concentric and star-studded traction patterns completes this luxe take on the revolutionary basketball shoe.
