Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Pine Green

Another Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid arrives in 2023, this time in a “Pine Green” colourway that pays homage to the communities that helped define what the Air Force 1 means today. Unlike the previous “Mid White” and “Mid Black” iterations from ’22, this version arrives in a full leather construction.

With green being a rare shade of colour when it comes to the Off-White x Nike collaborative palette, it is now the second edition to land after the “Green Spark” or “Brooklyn” Air Force 1 Low that arrived in 2022. Similar to the other two mid-iterations, this upper features the Flywire cabling that we first saw on the Off-White x Dunk Low from 2019, here with a white rope that matches the Swoosh and embroidered accents. On the lateral heel sits a candle just under the Off-White orange tab, another key detail in the brand’s collaborative arsenal. The spiked midsole returns from the Terra Kiger 5 and is Virgil’s way of referencing Nike performance and how he championed their innovative technology, even on the ‘80s basketball icon. A common feature in the library of Virgil’s work is the extended tongue, here once again with the addition of contemporary “AIR” branding embroidered onto the tongue.

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Pine Green” continues to divide opinions just as the prior two editions did, however you can be rest assured that loyal Virgil fans will be gearing up to cop these when they drop on April 28th.
