The beloved non-OG colourway draws inspiration from the black and orange uniforms worn by a young Michael Jordan in a basketball exhibition game in Trieste, Italy, where he performed a thunderous slam that had the crowd roaring after breaking the backboard.

This AJ1 High features a sail tumbled leather underlay with bright orange accents on the vamp, rear, and outsole. The contrasting black shade shrouds the toe, laces, and eyestay, further enhancing the basketball sneaker’s visual appeal. The “Shattered Backboard” graphic on the insole portrays glass fragments below the hoop as a nod to the theme. The trademark Swoosh covers the sidewalls, complementing the aviation-inspired Wings logo on the lateral collar and traditional Nike branding on the tongue.
