Leaning into another off-the-court Michael Jordan story, the Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Shorts” is an ode to the GOAT’s superstition. Thanks to the Jordan Air Ship "Every Game Diffused Blue", a lot of sneakerheads are now aware of one of the legend's many rituals, an inkling that had MJ wearing his University of North Carolina Tar Heels practice shorts under his Chicago Bulls uniform to bring him good luck. Who are we to judge, a couple of people at the office have started wearing their school football team shorts to work because clearly it worked ... right?

Inspired by the iconic UNC colour scheme, this fresh Air Jordan 3 features a crisp white leather upper with UNC blue accents. Light grey suede bolsters the toe, rear, eyestay, and collar, devoid of the signature elephant print design. The Jumpman logo adorns the tongue, sockliner, and TPU heel, a nod to MJ’s high-flying prowess. Visible Air on the heel provides ample impact protection, whilst the pivot circle on the rubber sole ensures durable traction on the hardwood and concrete. As a direct reference to the short MJ would rock under his rookie Chicago Bulls uniform, the tongue label on the inside reads "Air Jordan XL (87 - 88)" in a mock '80s style to mimic his University shorts.
