New York-based contemporary artist Nina Chanel Abney reunites with Jordan Brand for a brand-new collaboration featuring the Air Jordan 3. Known for her illustrative graphics packed with profound meaning, the designer first dabbled with the sportswear giant in 2022, featuring two minimalist iterations of the AJ2 alongside an exclusive apparel collection. Set to headline Summer ‘24, the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 3 “Bicoastal Black” showcases an eye-catching colour palette clad in a blue-green canvas upper and black suede overlays replacing the typical elephant print. Crisp white heel tabs showcase Abney’s hand-written Nike and Jordan branding. Sail white tones envelop the PU midsole, propped up by a blacked-out rubber sole.
