The Boston Celtics-inspired Lucky Green colour scheme makes its way on another Air Jordan Retro. Get ready for this Air Jordan 5 “Lucky Green”.
The "Lucky Green" rendition previously appeared on the Air Jordans 1, 2, and 3 which all came out in 2023. It seems like Jordan Brand will be bringing this style in the following year with this release. The Air Jordan 5 took its WW2 fighter jet design inspiration in the form of the shark teeth forefoot. Released in 1990, Tinker Hatfield put various signature details on the shoe. Leather makes up the upper while the TPU netting on the sides allowed air to flow when playing hoops. The thick tongue features reflective details and an embroidered Jumpman. A translucent lace lock adds more style to the shoe. The shark teeth design is a tribute to World War II fighter jets. A first for the brand, most Air Jordan 5 colourways feature a decoupled translucent rubber outsole with a herringbone traction pattern. Nike’s patented Air technology adorns the PU midsole.
This colourway has a white leather upper with green accents on the shark teeth, lace lock, and Jumpman logos. The PU midsole comes in black while the outsole remains in translucent rubber. This rendition will be in women’s sizing just like the Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Green”.
