This turf shoe was created as a cross-trainer, based on the Nike baseball cleat worn by Kenneth Griffey Jr. Donning a more supportive upper, the Air Griffey Max 2 removed the ankle straps and added more visible Nike Air bubbles. The shoe also features a leather upper with rigid sidewall ridges and a carbon fibre heel counter for maximum support and stability. Visible Nike Air units in the forefoot and heel bring adequate cushioning anywhere you go. Rubber nubs on the forefoot allows the shoe to grip the turf while keeping it viable for streetwear.

This colourway has a clean white leather upper with a glossy patent leather toe cap. Black accents adorn the Swoosh outline on the forefoot, lining, carbon fibre heel counter, and foam midsole.
