Nike Air Max 1 Black White

Air Max fans get blessed with another Nike Air Max 1 colourway as the brand sustains the growing popularity of the shoe in the modern sneaker era. This “Black White” make-up serves up the Air Max icon in a mostly "Blackout" finish, removing its obvious sporting roots and instead focuses on its sleek silhouette.

A pillar of Nike's legendary Air Max franchise, the Air Max 1 served as the pathway to success for Tinker Hatfield as he continued to design several Air Max models before implementing the same cushioning system towards some Air Jordan silhouettes. While Nike recently revealed a “Black White” variant closely resembling a “Panda” colour blocking, this rendition sports a minimalist ensemble. The shoe has a blacked-out build featuring a mesh base and nubuck overlays. Meanwhile, the white Swooshes on the sides and Nike Air labels juxtapose the dark-toned construction. Darkness also envelops the PU foam midsole, surrounding the visible Air Max window in the heel. The all-black waffle sole wraps up this no-trills, no-frills colour scheme.
