Nike Air Max 90 First Use White University Gold

The Nike Air Max 90 First Use White University Gold is the latest entry to join the Tinker Hatfield-designed “First Use” collection. This Air Max’s upper is a combination of synthetic leather, mesh, suede, and TPU. The Swoosh on the lateral sides is a delicate dove grey on leather, matching the similarly hued suede mudguard.

The toe tips, collar, ribbed TPU eye stays, and midsole are all in varying shades of white, making the University Gold of the laces, cassette, and vintage Nike branding on the heel tab stand out. Nike retro branding in black with a red check adorns the tongue tab. The medial also features a mini Swoosh together with the date that the Swoosh was first used: June 18, 1971.
