Description
The Nike Air Max 90 FlyEase Royal Blue is set to launch this month, offering a classic silhouette that has been repurposed to feature technology designed to make taking on and off sneakers easier than ever.
FlyEase technology was first introduced by Nike in 2015, and was designed to make slipping shoes on and off easier for athletes. It works by using ultra-flexible materials at the heel, making it essentially collapsible when slipping the feet in. The technology was designed by none other than Tobie Hatfield, brother of Tinker Hatfield - the man behind the Air Jordan 4 and Air Max 1 to name but a few.
Flyease has been incorporated into the Air Max 90, the first time it has been used on a non-performance shoe. The classic silhouette is treated to a clean blue, pink and white colourway, drawing on the retro culture that the shoe is closely associated with. The upper is crafted from technical mesh and leather panels, with a clean white midsole concealing the highly-coveted air unit underfoot.
