Nike Air Max 97 Black Chrome

The Nike Air Max 97 Black Chrome is a feat of technical sneaker design. This iteration features classic mesh as its base and comes overlaid with characteristically wavy strips of grey suede. The titular chrome hint comes in via the bottom strip, while the panel just above the midsole introduces a black shade. Mirroring the chrome strip is the Swoosh appliqué on the medial side as well as the metallic tubular laces and the logo plaque on the tongue.
