Nike Air Max 97 Futura Triple Black

Nike’s Christian Tresser-designed running silhouette inspired by the ripples of a water droplet, the Air Max 97 Futura, surfaces in an all-black colourway. First released in 1997, this shoe’s stand-out features were the full-length visible Air units underfoot. Check out the Nike Air Max 97 Futura “Triple Black”.

This AM97 has a sturdy ballistic mesh base in black. While the overlays on the shoe are also all black, the different layers take on varied materials and create a textured contrast. The wraparound mudguard is fuzzy suede whilst the mid-panels are glossy tumbled leather. The eye stay panels, on the other hand, are matte nubuck leather. Shiny black embroidered mini Swooshes are on both sides of the shoe. A black midsole, showing off a full-length exposed Air unit, and a semi-translucent, grippy black rubber outsole cap off this release.
