The 25-year-old Christian Tresser-designed Nike Air Max 97 makes history by hiding its midsole Air unit for the first time. Meet the Nike Air Max 97 No Bubble Black.

This Air Max 97 has a classic-looking black-and-white arrangement. The bottom of the upper’s wavy design is a hairy suede first layer with succeeding black leather layers except for a single white piping wrapping around the shoe. The nylon tongue and mesh sock liner are bone white. Traditional laces have been replaced with a toggle system with a chrome lace lock. The midfoot window has a shiny black TPU surface with a white Swoosh graphic and a debossed product code. A Sail-coloured midsole (with the Air units hidden inside) and an icy blue translucent outsole finish off the style of this unique sneaker.
