This is one of several new Air Max 97s in 2018 to feature a functional synthetic upper. This is not only water-proof and lightweight but easy to wipe clean of mud and dirt. The same wavy construct as the OG features with hits of reflective detailing which only come to life when hit with light.
Several colourways are up for grabs this season but this pair is by far the most interesting. A khaki shade is contrasted by vibrant orange which also appears to the Air Unit underfoot. If that wasn’t bold enough, a unique print is utilised for the mudguard and a mini-Swoosh hits the sidewall. Finally, a set of matching rope laces are included.
