The Nike Air Max 97 Ultra 17 Metallic Gold arrives with some serious attitude. For those of you who missed out on the Gold AM97 earlier this year, you’ll want to be ready for this Ultra rendition. It’s better equipped for the winter months but still showcases that unique shimmering upper.
The Ultra ’17 AM97 is characterised by the synthetic upper which features in place of the conventional leather or suede. The wavy construct still makes an appearance but the shoe is all together more hard-wearing. Simply wipe the shiny surface clean of any dirt or mud – nothing gets embedded in.
The Gold Air Max 97 Ultra ’17 isn’t for the fainted hearted. The iconic shoe gets the full midas treatment from heel to toe. The deep shade of gold even hits the Air Unit underfoot. Staying true to the OG colour scheme, a red coloured Swoosh is planted across the sidewall and also features to the tongue. Finally, a sticky black outsole promises the best in grippy traction underfoot.
