Tokyo-based streetwear label Cav Empt unveils its second Nike collaboration starring the futuristic Air Max Dn8. Formed in 2011 by Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell, C.E. takes its name from a Latin phrase meaning “let the buyer beware”, which raises a question about the brand’s authenticity and unique design ethos. Debuting as part of its Autumn/Winter ‘25 catalogue, the limited-edition Cav Empt x Nike Air Max Dn8 “Black” offers a progressive makeover from top to bottom, a worthy sequel to its debut AM95 project from 2019.

This rendition showcases black and dark grey digital camo graphics on the multilayered mesh upper, adorned with diagonal slashes on the side panels. A silver Swoosh adorns the lateral rear panel, while the embroidered co-branded logo on the tongue has a volt outline for a pop of colour. The 3M reflective lines on the eyestays produce a bright flash when exposed to light. A full-length Phylon foam midsole encases eight Dynamic Air bubbles for exceptional comfort and energy return. The durable rubber outsole incorporates thick lugs and waffle-inspired patterns for reliable traction.
