COMME des GARCONS Homme Plus x Nike Air Pegasus 2005 White

Iconic Japanese fashion label COMME des GARCONS continues its partnership with Nike in 2023 with a monochrome collection of the Air Pegasus 2005. The last few collaborations have highlighted a range of cult classic silhouettes, including the likes of the Air Sunder Max and Shox TL, all of which were treated to a monochrome tooling. Carrying that trend forward is this Air Pegasus 2005 in the “White” colourway, giving us a clean edition of the techy runner.

All of the maximalist details from the original 2005 versions have been thrown out, with Rei Kawakubo trying to capture the sole of the Air Pegasus in its most simple form. The mesh reappears underlaying the upper in a classic white that harks back to the early 2000s era of running shoes. The sized down Swoosh that was first seen on the Air Peg 2002 is back, embroidered onto the leather panel which is the pair’s most obvious premium addition. Co-branding can be found on the insole, with the signature CdG font surrounded by Nike’s Swoosh logo. We can see this triple white CdG x Nike release being a huge summer banger so let’s hope they drop in time for the sunny days ahead!
