Nike Air Pegasus 89 Beige Red

There’s no need to invent the time machine when you’ve got the Swoosh recreating history with this original colourway on the Air Pegasus 89. Unlike the other two shoes in the collection, this version of the 80s runner delves into its wardrobe and dons an all too familiar make-up. Having already seen a variety of retros since the shoe’s first release, the shape on these is the closest we have had since its original conception.

The original split midsole colouring is back in all its glory, with white at the toe portion and a light grey painting the back, implying the shoe’s old-school technology. The “Beige”- coloured nylon makes its way onto the toe and midsection of the upper, letting the collar embrace its signature “Red”. The different suede panels are broken up thanks to a combination of dark grey and beige, the suede quality much more visible this time around. A black panel at the back wraps around the heel and beautifully draws attention to the more feature-loaded part of the upper. The red can also be found via the branding and on the front lip of the sole, giving a sense of balance to this Air Pegasus 89.
