Nike Pegasus 40 Purple

Nike’s 40th iteration of its iconic all-around running shoe, the Pegasus 40, surfaces in lavender. The Pegasus, or simply “the Peg” among runners, was first released in 1983 and was the first shoe with a heel Air unit for shock absorption. Today, it’s one of the most popular silhouettes of Nike. Introducing one of the latest releases of the model, the Nike Pegasus 40 “Purple”.

This Pegasus 40 has a breathable mesh upper in lavender. The synthetic eye stay panels, the mesh tongue and the mesh sock liner also follow suit. A mid-foot band, an improvement on the Peg 40, provides the wearer with a more snug fit along the arch of the foot. The signature profile Swooshes on both the medial and lateral mid-panels have an outlined design in dark grey. A lavender React midsole with Zoom Air units at the heel and forefoot and a black rubber outsole with an extra flex groove at the forefoot cap off this release.
