Nike Air Trainer 1 Shima Shima

Nike’s first-ever cross-training shoe designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Trainer 1, revisits one of its cult collections from 2003, the “Shima Shima”, which was released only in Canada and Asia. Get ready for the return of the Nike Air Trainer 1 Shima Shima.

This Air Trainer 1 has a “Hay/ Baroque Brown/Taupe/Varsity Red” colour palette. The base of the shoe is in a light-coloured Hay brown premium suede. The overlays on the toe cap, the mid-panel, the eye stay panel and the heel counter are in a darker Taupe. Meanwhile, a contrasting Baroque Brown wraps around the vamp with suede and a Nike-branded TPU Velcro collar flap and sweeps across the mid-panels via the signature profile suede Swooshes. Hiragana “Shima Shima” text embellishes the Baroque Brown tongue tab and insoles in deep Varsity Red. The plush padded sock liners combine all the brown colours in a pinstripe design. A speckled Hay midsole and a Hay-and-Baroque Brown rubber outsole complete the look of these kicks.
