The upper of the Vapormax 95 Slate stays entirely true to this OG colourway. That includes the wavy fabric and netted material to the lace surround. Sections of premium suede add some refinement in light grey whilst that blue colourway manages to bring even more attitude. Even the Air Max 95 branding to the tongue remains entirely the same.
But that’s where the similarities end as the midsole underfoot is about as contemporary as it gets. This sole-swapped trainer brings a whole new level of comfort to the AM95. A full length Vapormax bubble delivers state of the art cushioning which is durable too. On this pair, it compliments the upper perfectly in a translucent shade of blue.
