The Nike Cortez isn’t just one of the first shoes introduced by Nike, it’s also a cultural icon that has appeared in the movie, Forrest Gump. More than 50 years after its first release, this shoe continues to roll out new colourways. Presenting the Nike Cortez “Fir”.
This Cortez has a dark fir green nylon base and matching suede overlays that wrap around the toe, eye stay panels and heel counter. Leather signature profile Swooshes streak across both the medial and lateral quarter panels in contrasting white. The laces, nylon tongues and pebbled leather heel tabs also follow suit. A white midsole with a light grey accent layer and a sail-coloured, herringbone-patterned rubber outsole cap off the whole ensemble.
