Nike’s OG running shoe, the Cortez, has a new variant honouring Georgetown University’s college basketball team, the Hoyas. Presenting the Nike Cortez Georgetown.
This Cortez is clad in an all-grey suede upper from heel to toe. The Sail-coloured laces and nylon tongue contrast with this dark background. Another Hoya team colour joins the mix in the form of the navy blue smooth leather signature profile Swooshes on both the medial and lateral mid-panels. The insoles are bright orange with white Nike branding. Metallic silver lace deubrés that spell out “Cortez ‘72” embellish the vamp. The branding on the white tongue labels also follow suit. A Sail and navy blue midsole and a white herringbone-patterned outsole wrap up the design of this sneaker.
