The trio of cultural powerhouses link up again for what could be 2023’s best Dunk. CLOT and fragment have long navigated a similar field of footwear, with the two even working on an Air Force 1 edition back in 2019. Now the effort shifts to the Dunk Low, emerging with a quasi-silk tooling that brought a premium edge to their previous collaboration.
A white silk-like material drapes the upper, with a repeating pattern giving an extra level of intricate detailing. Matching the high level of expectations is the leather lining, ensuring these feel like a quality collaboration while on feet. Co-branding is printed onto the left insole, with CLOT’s 20th Anniversary logo only centimetres above fragment’s infamous double lightning logo. The collaborative presence is also made clear on the heel, with black embroidery beckoning out the name of the two footwear monoliths. Underneath lies a milky rubber sole, which may possibly be glow-in-the-dark, but only time will tell if that is truly the case.
Initially touted as a CLOT exclusive, the pair will be getting a wider release via the Nike SNKRS app on June 14th. Make sure to stick close by The Sole Supplier where we can give you more news on the CLOT x fragment x Nike Dunk Low “Black White” release!
